VMC operator wanted in Fulton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Fulton County, Arkansas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
