Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
