Stainless steel welder — Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Douglas County, Washington. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
