Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Randolph County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
