Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Dickinson County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
