Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Aransas County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
