Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Aurora County, South Dakota. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. You will load and index turning tools in the turret; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time with occasional weekends.
