Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring).
