Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
