GMAW welder — Archuleta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Archuleta County, Colorado. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time, day shift.
