Steel fixer — Bates County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Bates County, Missouri. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
