Concrete labourer — Juneau City and Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. The role involves bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
