Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Piatt County, Illinois. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Day to day you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
