Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in Alcorn County, Mississippi. The job is at a cloud kitchen. You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
