VMC operator — Archuleta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Archuleta County, Colorado. The job is at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Overtime paid at a premium rate.
