Vacancy available: carpenter (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Pulaski County, Virginia. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. On the job you will handle: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
