Gas pipe fitter — Elk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Elk County, Kansas. You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
