Slinger signaller wanted in Lowndes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Lowndes County, Alabama. You will be based at a container port. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
