Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Lancaster County, Nebraska. You will work at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
