Argon arc welder — Lamar County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Lamar County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
