We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Guthrie County, Iowa. You will work at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
