Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. You should have: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
