Foundry labourer • Pankshin, Plateau State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Pankshin, Plateau State. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred.
