We are recruiting: vertical transportation technician (Ohio)

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Shelby County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
