Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Emmet County, Iowa. You will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
