Panel welder wanted in Cook County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Cook County, Minnesota. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 4+ years on the tools preferred.
