Estate gardener wanted in Monterey County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Monterey County, California. The role involves plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
