Backhoe operator — Bethel Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Bethel Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on a housing development site. On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
