Bar bender and fixer • Andrews County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Andrews County, Texas. The job is on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
