Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Webster Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Part-time with flexible hours.
