Bar bender and fixer wanted in Grant Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Grant Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
