Groundworker wanted in Torfaen County Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. You will be based on a residential housing site. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Your main tasks: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. £2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
