Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Boone County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
