Safety inspector — Goochland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Goochland County, Virginia. You will work in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time, day shift. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
