Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. You will be based in a garment export house. Your main tasks: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $7,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
