Semi-automatic welder wanted in Salt Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
