Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Wilbarger County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
