What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks.
