Now hiring: we are hiring a production line inspector in Daviess County, Indiana. The job is at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day to day you will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
