Immediate opening: smash repairer (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a smash repairer in Casey County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
