Metal caster wanted in Mani

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Mani, Katsina State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
