Fire and safety officer — Isanti County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Isanti County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Six days a week, one day off.
