Offshore rigger wanted in Isoko South

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Isoko South, Delta State. You will work at a busy construction site. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
