Glass fitter — Tangipahoa Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. On the job you will handle: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Replace cracked or broken window panes Ideal candidate: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Own basic hand tools an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
