Great opportunity: we are hiring a chef de partie in Ionia County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards The role involves label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations.
