Immediate opening: we are hiring a tandoor cook in La Plata County, Colorado. Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Strong knife skills and speed on the line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
