Bread baker wanted in Portsmouth

Now hiring: we are hiring a bread baker in Portsmouth, England. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
