Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Delta County, Texas. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
