Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Sandusky County, Ohio. You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
