Foundry labourer wanted in Lincoln County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Lincoln County, Nevada. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
